Welcome to BloomKnights! We’re extremely excited to be hosting this event and to see everyone’s ideas bloom into beautiful projects!
Arrive on Saturday morning in BA1 107. Please make sure to bring a valid UCF ID when you arrive so we can check you into the event! Doors open at 9:00 AM, and the event will officially start with opening ceremonies at 9:45 AM sharp.
Check in will be done via Blade, which is the platform used to register for BloomKnights. Upon arrival, you will be asked for your QR code in order to check in. This QR code will be required for attending workshops and getting food during the event, so it is recommended to have a screenshot of it saved!
From 9:00 to 9:45 AM is the best time to form teams and get to know other participants. At 9:30 AM, the doors for opening ceremonies will open and we’ll begin gathering everyone together for a warm welcome and important information for the day. At 10:00 AM, the hacking period officially begins for any participants working on a project!
We’re excited to welcome participants traveling from outside the Orlando/UCF area! If you’re coming from out of town, please make sure to plan your transportation, lodging, and arrival time ahead of the event.
BloomKnights will take place at UCF in Business Administration I (BA1). Check-in begins at 9:00 AM in BA1 107, so we recommend giving yourself extra time to park, navigate campus, and get settled before opening ceremonies.
Your safety matters to us. If you are traveling from outside the area, please take the necessary precautions before and after the event. Avoid driving late at night if you are tired, arrange a safe ride when possible, and consider traveling with others or letting someone know your route and expected arrival time.
Please plan ahead for the trip home after the event, especially since BloomKnights ends late at night. If you feel too tired to drive, do not risk it. Take a break, call a friend, use a rideshare service, or make other safe arrangements. Please reach out to organizers for assistance if you are in this situation.

The event will take place on July 11th.
Workspaces will be provided in BA1 239 & 107 classrooms.
The hacking period will last from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
